NaveLight is offline-first church presentation software: every feature, including the AI, runs on your own computer. The Bibles, the hymns, the speech models and the scripture search are all installed locally. There is no account to sign into, no licence check that can block a launch, and nothing about your services is ever uploaded — so the software behaves on a full Sunday exactly as it did in an empty room on Thursday.

What that means on the day
Set it up once, then forget about it
NaveLight checks the computer you're installing on and recommends a listening model it can handle. Download it once and it's yours — no subscription, nothing to renew.
The rest of NaveLight works with no model at all. You just won't get the listening until you add one.
Try unplugging it
Pull the network cable out in the middle of a service. Nothing happens. No warning banner, no reduced mode, no feature quietly switching itself off.
Private, not just promised
Your sermon audio stays on the machine because there's nowhere else for it to go. The phone remote stays off until you turn it on, and needs the code you scanned.
It travels
A church plant in a school hall runs exactly the same as a main campus. There's nothing to install in the building itself.
Why it's rare
Why most church software can't say this
Most presentation software works offline for the basics and then checks a licence periodically, which is usually fine and occasionally catastrophic. AI features are a harder problem: transcription and passage search are expensive to run, so almost every product that offers them sends your sermon audio to a server and bills per minute. That model cannot work without a connection, and it means the audio leaves the building.
NaveLight puts the models on your machine instead. It costs us nothing per service, which is why Cue Assist is included rather than metered — and it is why there is no grace period to run out.
Offline, specifically
What happens to NaveLight if the church internet goes down mid-service?
Nothing changes. There is no reconnect banner, no reduced mode and no feature that quietly switches itself off, because nothing was being fetched in the first place. You can pull the network cable out during a service and the congregation will not be able to tell.
How can AI scripture detection work without the internet?
The models are installed on the computer rather than called over a network. Speech recognition, the Bible index and the meaning-based search all run locally, so the only limit is the machine's own processing rather than the connection. This is why there is no per-minute transcription cost and no usage cap.
Does NaveLight need an account or a licence check?
No. There is no account to sign into and no periodic licence check that can block a launch. This matters most on the mornings it would matter most, when the building's Wi-Fi is carrying three hundred phones.
